About Nonprofit-Ality

As a 501(C)(3) Hope-ality utilizes an innovative community based approach known as the Social Work Infusion Model, efforts towards public safety and social services are continuing to grow. We have established a dynamic network involving Non-Sworn Social Workers, dedicated Police Department Personnel, and engaged Community Members and Leaders. Together, these essential components form a comprehensive support system aimed at enhancing community well-being and safety.

The Vision

Hope-Ality envisions a transformed community where restorative justice practices, community engagement, and ongoing collaboration with law enforcement agencies lead to healing. We're committed to fostering hope and facilitating the healing of communities that have suffered from systemic injustices.

Our Commitment

As a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, Hope-Ality is committed to bringing hope to communities by reimagining policing, particularly for minorities, individuals with mental health disorders, and those in need of social assistance. Our groundbreaking Social Work Infusion Model assigns social workers to 911 calls that require their expertise rather than a police officer's presence. Non-Sworn Social Workers act as liaisons between the Police Department, Social Services, and the community, providing dispatch and community police response for specific calls, as well as offering vital follow-up and wraparound services.
